Volunteer Application

The gift of your time and friendship will make an important difference in the lives of our lonely and isolated elders. For many of them, our volunteers and staff are their only family. 

If you haven’t done so already, take a look at our Volunteer Opportunities to see the variety of ways you can help bring joy into the lives of lonely seniors.

The nature of our activities allows you to volunteer as frequently as you wish and there are opportunities both during the week and on weekends.

Becoming a volunteer is simple!

1. Complete Volunteer Application

You may download the volunteer application or contact us to receive one by mail.  The volunteer application includes three reference checks and an authorization to complete a background check.

2. Attend an Orientation

Bring your completed application to one of our scheduled orientations.  (See our Calendar).  If that doesn't fit your schedule, call our office at 402-884-6641 and schedule a time to come in and meet our Volunteer Coordinator.
